A Love for the Area:
I grew up in Northern California with a love of family and sports. In 2008, I moved to a small town in Northeast Iowa to attend Upper Iowa University on a volleyball scholarship. I absolutely love the Midwest and I look forward to calling Ankeny my home for many years to come. After obtaining a Bachelor of Science degree from Upper Iowa University, I went on to earn a Doctorate degree from Palmer College of Chiropractic in 2014, where I graduated magna cum laude.

Chiropractic Education:
While attending Palmer College, I advanced my adjusting techniques and chiropractic skills by joining the Troxell Intern Program. This is an extensive program that specializes in assimilating the knowledge and skills necessary to become the absolute best chiropractor within the Gonstead system. Through this program I have attended and completed over 100 hours of Gonstead-specific seminars learning an array of valuable information for extremities, gait evaluation and specific spinal adjusting. Outside of the adjusting experience gained at Palmer clinics, I went on a Clinic Abroad trip to Manaus, Brazil where we helped bring spinal healthcare to an underprivileged community.

Active Lifestyle:
In my spare time I enjoy spending time with friends and family, going to the gym and anything related to volleyball. Currently I play on a few leagues throughout the Ankeny and Des Moines area. When I am not playing, I enjoy coaching the Iowa Powerplex Volleyball club, a competitive league for aspiring young girl athletes.

Family Focused Care:
I have a passion for infants, children of all ages, female health and the spinal health of young athletes. My goal is to improve the quality of life for every patient and help maintain an active, healthy lifestyle, full of the things you enjoy. I strive to help people get well through chiropractic care.

Family Wellness Chiropractic hopes our dedication for helping you and your family is evident. We know that your health is important to pursue your passions in life. I look forward to meeting you and your family to discuss how specific chiropractic care can help you live your healthiest life.

Chiropractor Miranda Good D.C.

Chiropractor Ankeny IA Miranda GoodThe Beginning:
Growing up, my family and I were always living in a different part of the country or world. My father was in the Air Force, so my life first began in Ohio, followed by Alaska, Washington, Belgium, and Indiana. In high school I suffered a sports injury that kept me from running for the rest of the season-- I then decided to see a Chiropractor. Seeing the Chiropractor was one of the best decisions I have ever made-- I was back to my sport after just a few adjustments. In 2014 I graduated from Purdue University with a Bachelor of Science in Applied Exercise and Health and a minor in Psychology. After earning my undergraduate degree, I knew I wanted to enhance my knowledge of the human body while helping people in a natural way. I had multiple Chiropractic and non-Chiropractic mentors who helped guide my decision to enroll at Palmer College of Chiropractic. In 2018, I graduated from the fountainhead with a Doctorate of Chiropractic.

Love of Learning:
During my time at Palmer College, I immersed myself in multiple organizations and clubs in order to learn as much as possible about the Chiropractic profession. Within my first year I knew I wanted to specialize in the Gonstead System of Chiropractic, leading me to join the Troxell Intern Program. This program specializes in creating elite Gonstead Chiropractors through intensive adjusting technique, teaching opportunities, and seminars. We learn to assess the patient as specifically as possible by utilizing the 5 components of the Gonstead System: Symptomatology, Visualization, Instrumentation, Palpation, and Spinography. Outside of the Troxell Intern Program I devoted time to being a Radiology and Technique Intern at Palmer College. Learning is a passion of mine, and I firmly believe one can never stop learning as it betters us as individuals. In the future I plan on attending more Chiropractic seminars in order to continue delivering the best care to the community.

Sport:
I was always involved in sports growing up such as soccer, tennis, bowling, equestrian, and running. Over the past year I have developed a passion for Powerlifting- training to be strong is so rewarding. I competed in my first Powerlifting meet this year and was fueled by the atmosphere, experience, and ultimately the other athletes. Becoming involved in powerlifting has peaked my interest in helping all athletes across the board enhance their performance through proper spinal health. Every person deserves to live the highest quality of life as possible and for as long as possible, so my goal is to help be instrumental in that endeavor. I aim to help everyone reach their optimal potential through Chiropractic care.
